2007 chevrolet cobalt
The Chevrolet Cobalt is a compact car. Chevrolet introduced in 2004 for model year 2005. The Cobalt replaced the Chevrolet Cavalier that the compact car.
It is available in both coupe and sedan is based on the platform Delta GM (also shared with the Chevrolet HHR, Pontiac G5, Astra (Opel, Vauxhall, Holden, trademarks and Saturn) and the Opel Zafira (MPV seven seats). All Cobalts are currently manufactured at GM's Lordstown Assembly plant in Lordstown, Ohio. The EPA classifies the Cobalt as a sub-car.
From 2009, Chevrolet will launch a cobalt worldwide successor, the Chevrolet Cruze (based on the new platform Delta II) in Europe, launches in other markets (including the USA) to proceed in 2010. The Cruze will be built in several places in the world, including Lordstown Assembly (which briefly Cruze be built beside the Cobalt until it is completely eliminated.)
